Our Highland girl was rescued as a non-sucking 6 week old calf.  She was being fed by stomach tube but was not thriving so was going to die.  Our manager Mione took her in, taught her to suck from a bottle with great difficulty, and fed her round the clock until she was strong enough to go on.  She is now 9 years old, and despite being hand reared, she is rather a haughty lady who is not particularly fond of cuddles!  She is a beautiful girl though, and visitors love to see her roaming the paddocks with her best friend, Jersey boy Monachyle.
