Autumn Fundraisers! Please come along and support us!

That time of year is fast approaching…short days, freezing weather, wet weather, mud up to our knees, triple workload and costs, as all the animals come in and need mucking out, feeding etc….winter is by far our hardest time of year!  Man power and finances get stretched to their fullest extent and beyond, so we are holding a couple of vital fundraising events to try to raise the money we need to make it through.  Our AUTUMN FAIR will be held in Aberfoyle Memorial Hall on Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th November.  There will be pony rides with Echo and Wispa, sales and bric-a-brac tables, bouncy castle, face-painting, refreshments and home baking….AND some of our resident blind dogs and other rescued animals may just make an appearance to meet their fans! It will be well worth a visit for the whole family, and your support really will make such a difference to the next few months at our centre…please help us spread the word and come along to say Hi and grab a wee bargain or two at the same time! Also that weekend on the Saturday night (14th) we are holding a live music/silent auction/buffet food event in The Black Bull in Gartmore…it will be a great night with a mixture of live musicians performing throughout the evening, and some fantastic silent auction prizes to bid on while having a dance and some tasty grub, and perhaps a wee tipple from the bar?!  This is a ticketed event, and numbers are limited, so please book your tickets now!  Tickets are £10 per person, £ 7 for kids, to include live music, auction card and buffet. They can be bought here on our website, at the bottom of the “Visit the Roost” page.  We desperately need as much support as possible for both of these events, hope to see you all there!
