Wispa’s mum, Echo, was saved by manager Mione from being sent to the “meat market” almost 30 years ago!  Not long after her arrival, she gave birth to a tiny little bundle of fluff, her son, Wispa Surprise!  The two adorable Shetlands have been with us ever since, and will be until their last breath.  Their sweet, gentle, loving natures make them firm favourites with visitors, and they have the important job of providing pony rides to little kids, both at our centre and out and about at community events.  Their adoring public simply cannot get enough of them and they are loved by everyone they meet….devastating to think that Echo would have been killed 28 years ago, and Wispa never even born….
